As I wrote in last month’s newsletter, one of the key ways we can take control over our personal supply chain of information is to homeschool. In so doing, we can promote both the physical and the mental health of future generations:
One of the benefits occurring right now amid all of the tragedy is that parents who might previously have been resistant to homeschool are taking their children out of a system that is literally torturing them through oxygen deprivation and forced medicine, a prison-like system of surveillance and control, and outlandish politicizing of every facet of their learning. Through homeschooling, we can create a supply chain of information that is both resistant to mental disruption, while creating resilient patterns of behavior that will remain consistent with individual freedom far into the future.
As ZeroHedge reports, this trend appears to be accelerating rapidly in Texas. The Texas Home School Coalition recently said “We are literally inundated with calls and emails from thousands upon thousands of families asking how they can begin homeschooling this fall.”
From ZeroHedge:
Last year, THSC saw a 400% increase in requests from parents to help with the transition from public school to homeschool. Compound today’s massive increase and it suggests the homeschooling trend is hot.
Jube Dankworth of Texas Home Educators told local news ABC13 that about 750,000 Texas students are homeschooled. The number dramatically increased during the pandemic, and there are no signs of the trend slowing down.
“Our call volume and contact volume doubled last week. We went from 300 to 500 calls to 1,000,” said THSC’s Tim Lambert said.
Lambert said the pandemic is the main driver for alternative learning:
“We are hearing parents who are saying, ‘You know, I am real uncomfortable with the situation in the schools,’ ‘I do not want my kids to wear a mask,’ ‘I do want my kids to wear a mask.'”
He added:
“2020 set records for the number of families interested in homeschooling. 2021 is now crushing those records. We are literally inundated with calls and emails from thousands upon thousands of families asking how they can begin homeschooling this fall. Families know that in homeschooling, they can find a form of education that is flexible and stable at the same time and it comes with a community of families who are ready to help.”
Perhaps even better news, this trend is not isolated to “red states” as even California is reporting that “homeschool applications doubled during the 2020-2021 school year.”
While it is encouraging to see this massive shift toward personal responsibility for how we raise our own children, I would only caution that the in-person school experience should not be completely replaced with the traditional school system’s online “solution.” The shift to online education has been anticipated by the engineers of The Great Reset, as they attempt to bring all the tools of digital surveillance into the home in order to promote the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Please see the excellent work of John Klyzcek, himself an educator, as he gives the technocratic background to the “School World Order.”
